Booking Conditions

1. Booking Policies and Procedures

  • All services are charged at half day rate max. 4hrs, day rate max. 8 hours or overnight rate max. 24 hours. Full payment must be made in advance.

  • Overnight bookings: I will require a non-refundable deposit of 30%.

  • Where day care is booked on a monthly basis I require at least 10 days notice if you are cancelling a day or you will be charged.

  • Bank holidays plus Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve are subject to higher fees.

  • A ‘Meet & Greet’ consultation is required, prior to reservations, FOR ALL NEW CLIENTS.

  • Day Care: Drop Offs are between the hours of 8.00am – 10.00am and Pick Ups are between the hours of 4.00pm – 6.00pm.

2. Cancellations & Alterations

  • Any bookings that are cancelled will be subject to loss of deposit. If cancelled 7 or less days before the start date of the booking, 100% will be payable unless I am able to take another booking.  If you wish to transfer your booking I will only be able to do this if I can resell the dates.

  • If you cut short your booking and unless I am unable to resell the days you will be liable for the full payment once the deposit is paid.

  • In the unlikely event that I cannot provide the service agreed, I will do my best to arrange an alternative.

 

3. Aggressive/Un-neutered/Un-housetrained Animals

  • I will not board unruly or un-housetrained dogs.

  • I will not board un-neutered male dogs, un-spayed females may be accepted with prior agreement.

  • I will not accept aggressive animals for bookings of any kind.

  • The client agrees that at the time of booking services for their dog(s), the dog(s) have not shown aggression or threatening behaviour, or caused harm, to any individual and/or any pet(s), and the client agrees to contact me immediately if any of these behaviours presents or if the dog(s) has potential to cause harm to any individual or pet(s).

  • The client agrees to be responsible for all costs (including but not limited to medical care, legal fees, damages etc) if the client’s pet(s) should bite another animal or a human, including myself.

  • If the client’s dog(s), whilst being boarded, shows aggressive tendencies towards me, my dogs or other day care dogs, or should its behaviour become unacceptable or a nuisance beyond reasonable acceptance, the client agrees that he / she be placed either with the emergency contact or in a boarding kennel, until the client returns, and this will be subject to any resulting charges.

4. Unforeseen Purchases

  • In the event that additional items need to be purchased in the absence of the client – i.e. pet food or other necessary items that contribute to the health and wellbeing of your pet - I will purchase these, retain a receipt and the pet owner is responsible for reimbursement of these items on their return.

5. Updates

  • Please inform me of any changes regarding your contact numbers, your pet’s care needs, your emergency contact details and other pertinent information.

6. Privacy Policy

  • All of your information will be kept private and confidential.

7. Insurance

  • I have valid public liability insurance, for the peace of mind of clients. I recommend that you purchase your own separate pet insurance.

8. Medications, Vaccinations and Immunisations

  • If necessary, I will follow instructions to administer medications as directed but cannot be held responsible for complications that arise as a result.

  • Under no circumstances will I board any dog that has any form of active contagious illness.

  • All dogs must be fully vaccinated or provide a Titer test, taken up to 14 days prior to the day care or boarding date. A copy must be provided for my records.

  • If I contract any disease or ailment from a clients dog(s), which has not been properly or currently vaccinated, the client will be responsible for all costs and damages that may be incurred as a result.

  • I require dogs to be on a flea and worm treatment plan and be up to date with their treatment.

  • Your dog’s Kennel Cough vaccination must be up to date prior to their arrival for day care or boarding.

 

9. Collars/Leads

  • Please provide secure collars and, if applicable, harnesses, with an up to date tag for all visits (in addition I will place a Furbnb contact tag on your dog while it is with me).

10. Changes to return date

  • No credits will be given for early returns or last-minute changes to pet care.

  • In the event that you (the client) are delayed on return, you must inform me immediately, so that I can arrange continued cover.

11. Payment

  •  I accept payment by cash/bank transfer.

  • A 30% non-refundable deposit of the total sum due is payable at the time of booking for all overnight boarding bookings.

  • The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the booking.

  • Where services are required long term, the client may make payment on a monthly basis with prior agreement.

  • Where payment is not received in accordance with these terms and conditions of business, I reserve the right not to proceed with any previously agreed arrangements, and a cancellation fee will be payable.
